With pasta products in the world last year were prepared 14 billion and 278 million dishes: a number that alone makes it clear that it is loved. It is a food that is good for your health but also the environment and helps families to be together, sitting at the table and without haste after a day on the run. The popularity of pasta is also confirmed by Doxa survey according to which 44% of the Italians eat every day. And it’s an easy meal to cook and to customize, because, unlike other most popular pasta dishes, the quality of the result depends on the ingredients and only 80% to 20% of the capacity of the cook. On the occasion of World Pasta Day, to be held October 24 in Buenos Aires, we asked the experts to take stock of the nutritional value of pasta also dispelling some common myths such as the one that the pasta is fattening.
